Step 1 Lead-in
Well, today we are going to learn a new unit. Before we learn the new lesson, first let's do a guessing game:
Think about things we use in our daily life. Describe one or two such things to your classmates and see if he/she can guess what are you describing. The following sentence patterns may help you:
1. What does it look like? 2. What is it used for? 3. What is it made of?
4. Who usually uses it? 5. How do people use it? 6. How does it work?
7. When is it used? 8. Where do you usually see it?
(Ask some volunteers to describe things in front of the class.)
